Test Analyst

Is your contract coming to an end? Are you seeking a new challenge then this 12 month contract is for you. My client is actively seeking a Test Analyst to join the rest of there testing team.

IT Degree or Diploma with 3 years testing experience
Understanding of the SDLC lifecycle
Min 3 years expeirence in the testing competence
Understanding of testing concepts and approaches

·          Develop test scripts, test conditions, input test data, and expected results for one or more test plans including component, assembly, product, performance, user acceptance and technical architecture.
·          Develop, update and maintain testing standards and procedures.
·          Execute test scripts
·          Record problems and issues in accordance with the project’s problem and issue management plan.
·          Work with the application team to resolve any issues that arise out of the testing process.
·          Participate n the release control process (when the application is transferred from the build team to the test team) to ensure that solution meet business requirements.
·          Validate product fixes.
Inform the test lead of any issues that may affect the schedule, budget, or quality of the product or the testing process.

Knowledge, Skill and Ability

·          Thorough knowledge of structured test methods and processes.

·          Proven experience of testing complex user interfaces
·          Detailed knowledge of both manual and automated testing.
·          Experience of testing using an automated test tool such as QA run or Winrunner.
·          Experience of testing windows software application/database applications produced using VB, C#, Access, SQL server.
·          A commitment to quality and a thorough approach to work.

·          Good communication skills and detail oriented.
